It's a performance open to the public created by the artist Nina Carini
The work of two sound designers Luca Maria Baldini and Alessandro Sambini will produce rhythm and sound to the performance.The performance will begin at noon on December 15th at Casa Testori and will end at noon on 16th at Casa degli Artisti Both Institutions will be my home for those 24 hours and a virtual room will allow us to make it happen. The performance is private. If you want to participate, please email info@for24hcallmepoet.com to sign up and you will receive a link and a password. The execution will be recorded in full and the soundtrack produced will be a sign in the absurdity of our present.

La Chambre Blanche (Canada)

La Chambre Blanche invited Italian artist Silvia Bigi for a virtual residency from August 19 to September 17, 2020. For her production, the artist will collect archive images that will be used to create a new pigment and explore a new relation with the photo. Through this project, Bigi wishes to deconstruct the status of photography as an act of domination over things by exploring the threshold between memory and representation. This residency was made possible thanks to the collaboration of the Rad’Art center in Italy.

MOTUSORBITAS (exhibition)
The Motusorbitas is an Alessandro Zambelli project. It uses OLED technology in an ingenious way. The sculptural lamps feature custom OLED panels and a dynamic design that uses both light and movement to create a uniting language between the ancestral and the abstract.
Luca Maria Baldini created a sound installation and a performance for the exhibition in the Carme space in Brescia

INTERVALLO IVIPRO (video game live soundtrack)
The Italy of video games
IVIPRO DAYS is our annual event dedicated to exploring the role and potential of the video game as a tool for promoting the territory and heritage. On 23rd November 2018, the first “Video games, territory and heritage” seminar took place in Bologna. Again, on 14th and 15th September 2019, IVIPRO DAYS hosted in-depth informative meetings, featuring Italian and international guests. At the charming Castello Estense of Ferrara, 23 experts and scholars, developers and game designers, as well as cultural institutions that had been working with video games, shared case studies and concrete experiences with the audience.

LIVE FROM SPACE (live set NASA ARCHIVE VIDEO)
That was no ordinary Easter Monday (lockdown edition): a day traditionally devoted to picnics, outdoor meals, and family reunions it saw us locked up at home, for the safety of all.
This is why Trieste Science+Fiction Festival has decided to get everyone on a trip out of town: a live performance broadcast directly from outer space!
Luca Maria Baldini, who was one of the protagonists at the latest edition of the Festival with his live scoring of The Mechanical Man and Moon, was play live on TS+FF’s Facebook page giving sound to images of our planet as seen from outer space and stored in NASA’s archive.

MILANO METROPOLIS RISONANZE
Teatro Franco Parenti Milano
Milano Metropolis Risonanze, soundscape of Metropolis’ 2008 uncut and restored version. The work connects Fritz Lang’s Metropolis with Milan before the lockdown as a consequence of the health risk related to the Coronavirus outbreak. The city of Milan is used as an archetype of contemporary cities.
I started off with recording the city’s soundscape to create the movie’s diegetic sound and an original soundtrack. The work stands as a reflection on contemporary cities’ social contradictions. Thus, using Lang’s critique of society through sound, electronic music and images.
The show was premiered live on November 20, 2019 at the Teatro Franco Parenti di Milano with the violinist Eloisa Manera.
